Utopian Spring

It is almost like utopia, but not quite. Lush trees grace the landscape in droves. Moss covers the trees as sunlight filters through the heavily-leafed branches. However, there is nary a sound of a predator nearby. Breaking through the foliage, a small lake lay in the center. It is inhabited by swans, but there is plenty of room for equines too. The grass is always plentiful and juicy-sweet. In the winter the lake is one of the few places that does not completely ice over. There is one edge where you can see out past the horizon and it seems like it goes on forever. Sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous from that point. During the spring, wildflowers take over the vast majority of the grassland. It is a picturesque place indeed.
